In this video we are going to talk about how to write a sales copy that able to trigger your readers”s emotion and make them to take action on buying your products or services.
Lets dive in .
People buy emotions not the products or service that you are providing.But knowing this , what we need to do next is to read a sales copy that make them feels like buying our products. As feeling is a strong emotion.
A product that has high emotional sales copy ,able to sell at a better price as well.
Lets look at some good example .
In country like singapore and malaysia they are famous with Hainanense Chinken rice.
So , if you go to a typical shop that sell this rice , it will cost you about 2-3 usd
But , if you go to a western restaurent that sell the exact rice but with this description
“The Hainanese chicken rice is a dish that consists of succulent steamed white chicken cut into bite-size pieces and served on fragrant rice with some light soy sauce. The dish is topped with sprigs of coriander leaf and sesame oil, and accompanied by a garlic-chilli dip.”
It is selling at 10usd or even more.
Maybe Asian Food is not for you lets look at spaghetti bolognese
In a typical asian shop I can get it for 3-4 dollars
In western restaurent I need to pay 10-15 dollars for it. Because of this”
A traditional sauce made with prime beef, pork mince and Italian Roma tomatoes.It makes you want to eat the noodle!
Although we all know that it is just beef mince with a tonnes of tomato sauce.
So , selling through emotion is really a powerful to not only increase your closing rate but also you can sell it at a higher price.
Now when we talk about using emotion in your copy it doesn’t mean you can just tell people how to feel.
Those stand up comedian will tell a joke so that you know they can actually provide their”joke” services”
Imagine you’re writing copy for your new t shirt .
You might write something like this.
My new t shirt is nice and trending .
Well , do you actually feel excited in buying it ?
Of course you don’t.
But if you describe the shirt combine with the experience that the person will get such as the cooling experience from the finest cotton and you will be sweatless , you’re definitely going to get the sense that this shirt is a must buy during a hot weather.
As we learn from on my previous video , sell the results of the products .
So using concrete detail and the result after buying your products in the minds of your readers, it will helps in evoke a feeling an emotion that spurs them to be interested with your products.
So , remember to use the emotions elements when writing your copy.
